a change of venue

Because Substack is full of Nazis and the powers that be are not willing to do anything about, I am leaving this platform and heading over to Buttondown. This will happen sometimes this month, but you won’t notice anything except the posts might look a little different. Paying subscribers don’t have to do anything; the transition is seamless because both platforms use Stripe for payments.

I really liked it here. The interface is easy to use, they provide a lot of useful tools, I’m comfortable with the CMS. But that all takes a backseat when you are platforming hateful, racist people and defending your right to do so. It’s time to wave goodbye to Substack and move on to a better, nicer place.

It might take me a bit to figure out the way Buttondown works, and make the newsletter look nice. But it will be done before this month is over,
