Lots of joy! You love to see it! Barbie is incredible. Probably need to revisit; I saw it two days before my wife started chemo so I didn’t get to revel in all the joy it presents. And Ryan Gosling! Never been one to feel twinges of homosexuality but damn his case of abs had me questioning myself! lol!

I haven’t seen The Doors since 1991 or 92 (who can remember?). Saw it in a lecture hall our college opened on Fridays and Saturdays for cheap movie viewing. Almost got into a fight with a dude in front of me insisting The Doors and Morrison had anything to do with the song Heroine that appears at some point in the movie. Do.Not. Confuse the Doors with the Velvet Underground. The only thing the two bands have in common is Andy Warhol and likely a bunch of sex partners.

No One Here Gets Out Alive was practically my Bible my first year of college (my girlfriend at the time was even named Pamela -- oddly enough, she's also currently my second wife...). I agree that Kilmer carries the entirety of what value the film possesses, and listening with my 62-year-old ears, the discography is almost the dictionary definition of a mixed bag (although I still have this inexplicable and horrible fondness for Peace Frog...)
