I think the constant “push” from society to find someone and the judgement given to those that are single plays a direct role in our insecurities and difficulty in finding self love. It’s ridiculous to me how often society feels the need to comment on another’s choice of being single or “taken”. If we didn’t put so much pressure on people to find someone, maybe we wouldn’t question so much why we ourselves aren’t lovable enough for someone else and maybe then it’d be easier to love ourselves more for who we are, not who we are - or are not - with. The most important person we should love, is ourselves, and that should be first and before anyone else. Self love is something I battle myself and continue to work on too. <3
