Lots of Phish and King Gizzard on my list. I rediscovered Mary’s Danish, an LA band from the early 90’s. Also Lunar Vacation, a band from Athens, GA that toured behind their debut LP in 2022.

I listen to all types of music, though not a lot of "new" music other than jazz, which has become my staple. That said, I was, and am, a huge Smithereens fan. A couple of months ago, they released "The Lost Album," an album they recorded in 1993 (between labels) that never saw the light of day. The Lost Album is not their best, though there's some great stuff on it. It's real import, to me at least, is that one can hear new stuff from the late, great Pat Dinizio. A superb singer and songwriter who left us too soon five years ago. The Lost Album has put me on a Smithereens listening binge (which is always a good thing). So, not sure the Smithereens are up your alley, but check em out. They continue to tour (with Marshall Cranshaw as the usual stand-in for Pat). I need to get to one of their shows soon.
