Michele, It’s nice to see you hanging out on Love Street. I should visit there myself now and again. You’re a great writer and it’s nice you’re seeking the positive. As we get closer to November, it will get more challenging. Find the joy.
It is also good to see you turning away from hate and instead seeking the true, the beautiful, and the good. Things that bring you, or others you love a little joy.
I found a long time ago (literally - back when I was a teen), that if we but open our eyes to it, there is still beauty and good in the world, despite the evil that’s always trying to consume it. I found, as you appear to have, that the rage and hate we feel for things we don’t like, for whatever reasons - real or imagined, seldom if ever actually make things any better, and can instead consume us - leaving us feeling a bit empty inside.
I hope this marks a new chapter in your life - one that’s at least a little more joyful. There aren’t many that truly and fully live this kind of positive outlook lifestyle, but be aware that in this case, you’re not going it alone. One day at a time. Take care,
-Brian (a longtime follower - I.e. ‘a small victory’ days).
1) This particular post really resonates with me
2) So glad that Finding Joy is returning and that you are back on this platform. Much easier to engage here.
