Grief expresses itself as it will. You can ride the wave or you can fight it. You'll get through- because what's the alternative?- and you'll think and dream of him less and less. Eventually you may barely think of him at all. Time heals, but it takes its sweet damned time doing so.

grieving is never linear, there's no getting over it - getting through, living beside, better days than not.
