I can't imagine what you are going through. I think taking off the ring and putting it away is a good first step in letting go and moving on with your next chapter.
That’s always the hardest part...what do we do with the feelings when the relationship runs its course? Somehow I envision you putting on an artists hat and designing a new ring for for whatever finger, or embellishing one you have and making it your own.
